About the atelier

Who we are

Who is SophistiChic Art des Fleurs?

SophistiChic Art des Fleurs is a luxury floral and event atelier based in Miami. We design weddings, celebrations and brand moments with an architect's sense of structure and a creative director's feeling for emotion, an approach we call Architecture in Bloom. Every commission is bespoke and we work fully in English and Spanish.

What does Architecture in Bloom mean?

It is the idea that guides the atelier: flowers approached the way an architect approaches a space, with proportion, light, material and intention before a single stem is placed. Structure gives each design its form, emotion gives it meaning, and craft holds the two together as quiet luxury.

Who are the founders?

The atelier was founded by Roger Iglesias, an architect, and Maria Pia, its creative director. Roger brings the discipline of the built environment to floral design, beginning with proportion and structure. Maria Pia leads the creative direction, translating each client's story into palette, texture and mood.

Do you work in both English and Spanish?

Yes. We design and communicate fully in English and Spanish, the way Miami actually lives. You are welcome to plan your event, review proposals and speak with us in whichever language feels most natural to you.

Where is the atelier based?

Our atelier is at 7166 NW 50th St, Miami, FL 33166. From here we design and build for private clients, couples and brands across South Florida. You can reach us by phone at (786) 972-1761, by email at [email protected] or on WhatsApp.

Services

What we design

What services does the atelier offer?

We design floral and event experiences for weddings, private celebrations, large installations and brand and corporate moments. Each project is composed as a whole, from concept and palette to structure, materials and on site styling.

Do you design weddings?

Yes. Weddings are at the heart of the atelier. From the ceremony to the reception, we design the florals and the surrounding environment so the day feels composed and unmistakably yours, from the first arrangement a guest sees to the final table.

Do you create florals for quinces and milestone celebrations?

Yes. We design for quinces, anniversaries, birthdays and other milestone celebrations. Whatever the occasion, we treat it as a bespoke commission and design the florals and setting around the story you want the day to tell.

Do you produce large floral installations?

Yes. Statement installations are one of our specialties. Because the atelier is led by an architect, every large piece is engineered to hold its form and its meaning throughout the event, from suspended and structural work to immersive floral environments.

Do you work with brands and corporate events?

Yes. We design floral direction for brand activations, launches, galas and corporate celebrations, translating a brand's identity into palette, structure and atmosphere so the moment feels intentional and on brand.

Is every design bespoke?

Yes. The atelier is bespoke only. No two commissions repeat, and every design is made for one client, one space and one moment. We do not work from set packages, because the work begins with your story rather than a template.

Process

How it works

How does the design process work?

Our process moves through five stages: consultation, where we listen to your story and space; concept, a designed proposal with palette, structure and materials; refinement, where we shape the details together; creation, built and finished by hand in the atelier; and installation, delivered and styled on site before your first guest arrives.

How do I book the atelier?

Begin by requesting a design consultation through our contact page, or reach us on WhatsApp. Tell us about your event, the date and the feeling you want the room to hold, and we will guide you from there into concept and proposal.

What happens during the consultation?

The consultation is where we listen. We talk through the story behind your event, the space, the palette you are drawn to and the emotion you want guests to feel. It gives us everything we need to return with a concept designed for you.

Do you travel for events?

Yes. We design and install throughout South Florida, across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. If your celebration is planned beyond these areas, share the details with us and we will let you know how we can help.

Do you install on site?

Yes. We deliver, install and style on site so everything arrives exactly as designed and is perfect before your first guest walks in. Being present on the day is part of the atelier standard.

How far in advance should I reach out?

As early as you can. Because every commission is bespoke and we take on a considered number of events, reaching out well ahead of your date gives us the most room to design freely and secure the materials your concept calls for. If your date is near, contact us anyway and we will tell you what is possible.

Areas served

Where we work

Which areas do you serve?

We serve South Florida across three counties: Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. From the atelier in Miami we design and install for weddings, celebrations and brand events throughout the region.

Do you serve Doral, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Brickell and Miami Beach?

Yes. We regularly design and install across Miami-Dade neighborhoods including Doral, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Brickell and Miami Beach, as well as the wider Broward and Palm Beach areas.

Can you design events outside Miami-Dade?

Yes. Beyond Miami-Dade we serve Broward and Palm Beach, and we are glad to hear about celebrations planned elsewhere in the region. Share your venue and date with us and we will let you know how we can bring the atelier to you.

Practical

Good to know

How do budgets work?

Because every commission is bespoke, we design and price each event individually rather than from fixed packages. Your investment reflects the scale, materials and complexity of the design we shape together. Once we understand your vision, we prepare a proposal made only for your event.

Is there a minimum?

For full event and installation work we may set a design minimum so we can commit the time and craft each commission deserves. Any current minimum [minimum to confirm] will be shared with you clearly during your consultation before anything is agreed.

Are your materials sustainable?

We choose considered, seasonal materials for quality rather than spectacle, and we design with care for how each stem and finish is used. Where a design allows, we favor reusable structures and thoughtful sourcing, always keeping the integrity of the finished work first.

What happens to the flowers after the event?

It depends on the design and the venue. In many cases arrangements can stay with you or your guests to enjoy afterward, and structural pieces are collected by the atelier. We are happy to talk through the options for your event and any preferences you have during planning.

What is your policy on changes and cancellations?

Changes and cancellations are handled through the terms set out in your proposal and agreement [changes and cancellation policy to confirm]. We will always walk you through these clearly before you commit, so you know exactly how adjustments to your design or date are handled.

How can I contact you?

Reach the atelier by phone at (786) 972-1761, by email at [email protected], or on WhatsApp. You can also request a design consultation through our contact page, and we will follow up to begin your event.
